Getting Started with the CPS

Getting started with the Community Premodern Series takes a bit of set up. This page is designed to help guide you through the process.  Remember, to participate in the CPS you need

For Webcam Events

• An active Gatherling account

• An active Discord Account

• Access to the Premodern Discord

All CPS events are organized on Gatherling, which is where you'll find upcoming and active events across a range of formats.  Creating a Gatherling account enables you to register for events, record your match results, and track your performance.

To register, visit Gatherling and click "Need to Register?"

Once you've created an account, you are now able to join events.  Active and Upcoming Events are listed on the left side of the homepage.

Active and Upcoming Events can also be found by clicking the Player CP tab.

Once you've joined an event, you'll be prompted to enter your deck list.  

Discord is a popular way for communities to engage in synchronous and asynchronous communication through text, voice, and video chat.

Create an account at Discord.

All CPS Webcam events are managed via dedicated channels on the Premodern Discord.

Once you've join the Premodern Discord, you'll need to assign yourself the Premodern Webcam League role by locating the PWL Signup Channel and reacting with the Crossed Swords Emoji

This will assign you the Premodern Webcam role so that you can be easily notified if another player is looking for a match or if there is an announcement from the event Moderators.

Now that you have all the necessary steps completed, it's time to join a League and jump into some League matches. There are two primary ways to find a League match:

• Typing @PWLinto the chat in the Premodern Webcam League Channel on the Premodern Discord

• Responding to another player's @PWL in the Premodern Webcam League Channel on the Premodern Discord
